Our leaders are a varied group of enthusiastic, fun, helpful and knowledgeable people from all walks of life. We all have full time jobs and voluntary DofE leading is just one of the things we enjoy doing in our spare time. We're very happy to run the group and help every one of our participants succeed, but always remember we don't get paid for it and we don't have to be here.

For the year 2011-2012, we say goodbye to Ruth and Jono and thank them for the tremendous amount of work, enthusiasm and determination they have put into the group over the ten years since they founded it. Jono and Ruth leave the group in the hands of a strong team of leaders:

• Catriona and Mary will lead the Bronze group (Mary also maintains our accounts)
  
• Claire and Lucy will take care of the Silver participants.
  
• Victoria will support the other leaders and oversee our Gold participants
• Neil will provide expedition skills training and help with planning (and also maintains our website)

We also make use of a network of skilled and qualified outdoors people who volunteer to supervise, assess and support our expeditions over the spring and summer.
